Course Info

Mill Creek Golf Club is the high point for golf in the Rochester area.  The course plays off and around a drumlin that is the highest point in Monroe County, offering beautiful views of the Rochester skyline and the rolling hills of the Finger Lakes to the south.

A Memorable Experience
Combining a dramatic blend of the natural aesthetics of the land with the risk/reward factors of a well crafted challenge, Mill Creek is a links-style course which features expansive fairways and large undulating greens.  With 5 sets of tees, Mill Creek Golf Club offers a memorable experience for golfers of all skill levels.

Stunning Clubhouse & Great Food
With its timber-frame construction, the clubhouse offers warm hospitality in its tavern with an extensive pub menu as well as a Friday evening dinner menu. The covered wrap-around porch offers a great spot for an “after round” drink and snack.  The clubhouse or party tent is well equipped to host golf tournaments, weddings, showers, reunions, and business meetings for up to 200 guests.

The Practice Center
Mill Creek has a 23 acre Practice Center that is the home of the Brian Jacobs Golf Academy.  The Center encompasses a large grass tee with 400 yards of hitting area, and separate putting, chipping and bunker greens.  The Academy offers private and group lessons from Director of Instruction Brian Jacobs, a Class A PGA Golf Professional and Hank Haney Certified Instructor, in addition offers one on one golf schools, clinics and playing lessons from juniors to the accomplished golfer.

The Short Course at Mill Creek
The nine hole short course offers four sets of tees, sand bunkers and water hazards along with great conditions, making it a fun round of golf for all skill levels.

Mill Creek Golf Club offers private course conditions at a competitive price, making it a “must play” in Rochester.

“The course, condition and price make Mill Creek the best golf value in the Rochester area.”

Mill Creek is open and in great shape for early spring. Prices are excellent, course is excellent, staff is excellent. I love this course, and it is worth the drive out to churchville. A must play- one of the best courses in Rochester.

  2. Paul Parkin says:

Great layout of a golf course, in great condition. A lot of interesting holes the first time thru you play that you would definetly play different the second time thru. #10 for sure. If you can hit a driver over 230yrds, don’t lay up, drive the ball around the dog leg which drops 150 feet down towards the green. Speaking of greens though, these greens, all of them, were the toughest greens my foursome has every played. We are from Niagara Falls, Ontario and the difficulty of the greens don’t even exist on the PGA tour. Every putt you have to think about. And a two putt is like achieving birdie even if its to save bogey. They’re that tough. Aside from that though and the off beat track to get there, its a must play if your a golf enthusiast. Fantastic food in the clubhouse too.

  3. RocGolfer says:

Mill Creek is one of my favorite public courses in Rochester. The condition of the course is always in great shape. I live on the east side of Rochester and the drive out to Mill Creek. It is well worth the drive for this quality of golf!

You must play this golf course. Many interersting holes. We like the greens, fast and not a easy two putt. You must play there and you’ll know what I am talking about.

  5. Mike says:

If you’re a senior, don’t beat yourself, Play the silver tees. If you’ve played this course before, you know that the tee shot here is most likely to put you in deep trouble. Distance off the tee is crucial.

  6. Dave R says:

Definitely go with someone who has been around this place before if you’re a first timer here. Lots of blind tee shots. Overall a very impressive layout. Must check it out.
