Durand Eastman Golf Course opened in 1935 and features 6,003 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. This County course is one of the (3) courses listed under “The Parks” operated by Jack Tindale. Durand Eastman Golf Course offers challenges to a more skilled golfer. Durand-Eastman Golf Course,
A fantastic R.T. Jones type layout gone haywire. A privately run Muni. Living, and paying taxes, in the community should get you some sort of discount on fees. Ahh, but you can ‘purchase’ your discount pass. The county needs to look closer into it’s management.
Residents are being taken for a ride (At $28.00 / 18 holes-2 riders). Great course layout, Lousy management….
This is a challenging course layout that was improved a few years ago by improved drainage but still isn’t properly maintained. The biggest drawback is the pace of play. If you can enjoy a 3-1/2 hour 9 hole round on a difficult and minimally maintained course, be my guest.
Great layout. Will challenge any golfer. If you can put your pride aside, and play a county public course, you will be challenged to steep hills an narrow tree lined fairways which are non-forgiving.
