Under new Ownership and Management since March 2012!

Better golf – Better Value! Brockport Golf Club which opened in 1960 features a par 72 which plays over 6,700 yards from the tips. Rated the 3rd toughest course in Monroe County by the RDGA (Rochester District Golf Association), Brockport Golf Club will challenge all levels of play. The front side is very tight and undulated. You need to sharpen up on your wedge game to master this side. The backside is for the power players so dust off the driver. The course is varied with holes that are short and long, flat and hilly. A good score will be recorded by anyone who can hit a variety of crisp shots to accommodate each hole, and approach shots that will hold the greens. Number 14 is the #1 handicap hole and finishing 18th hole nicknamed “The Monster “ is a 555 yard par 5 where the wind always affects each shot. No matter the weather conditions outside Brockport Golf Club has a heated-driving range helping to keep your game sharp all year long.

Brockport Golf Club is considered “The Best Value” in the Rochester Area by bringing the private course conditions to a public course at a fraction of the cost. All carts or equipped with GPS systems. If you love to walk while playing don’t worry you can rent a hand held GPS system by Izzo for only $3. Their exceptional clubhouse facilities at Brockport Golf Club starts with the large banquet hall inside the clubhouse that seats 250 and is ideal for large outings and private parties. They also have the Panoramic Room, a smaller banquet hall that seats more than 125 inside with 75 more on the outside deck overlooking this beautiful course. Another smaller banquet room is available for smaller groups of 80 or less. Inside the clubhouse, you’ll find the Oak Bar, the largest in the area, which is enjoyed not just by golfers but by area residents who come to Brockport for drinks, live music, dancing and sports viewing on thier large screen tv. I finally got out to play Brockport Golf Club this year. I was totally impressed with all the improvements that they made. The course was in excellent shape (best I have seen in a long time). I will be playing here again…GUARANTEED!!!!

I was at Brockport Golf Club this past weekend for a tournament and the course was in good shape. It looks like they are updating the deck that looks over the course of my favorite hole with the water fountain. I will definitely be coming back.

  3. The Saturday Golf Association / Rochester Tour had week #7 at Brockport CC.. 95 players played this past Saturday and all had great comments even after the Friday night rains which produce tons of water… I was very surprised that the course drained quickly and gave us a great scoring opportunity for our members. Tee to green the course was in good shape, Brockport greens are usually one of the fastest on the Tour and they were producing birdies all day long!!! It looks like they are updating the deck that looks over the course of my favorite hole with the water fountain. The SGA will return in 2011 – it’s a must for Tour! Tim great job on the course!

Nice course and layout. This place has matured over the years into a real test. Play can be slow though – rounds can be close to 5 hours. Would be nice if rangers would help more to speed up play. Very inexpensive to play which brings in a lot of beginner golfers.

Brockport CC is in very sad shape. Since Tim & Anna sold the place it has hit rock bottom. So sad to see it use to be so nice. Seems the Russian who bought it may have a PHD but it sure is not in taking care of a golf course. I played it yesterday 03/07/2012 and the course looked like Caddy Shack after they blew up the course in the movie. Trenches are open everywhere wiring all over the course popping up everywhere. WOW seems like this will not be a golf course for long.

Tim and Anna selling the course was the best thing to ever happen to Brockport. They were running the place into the ground and were absolutely terrible owners. The trenches and wiring you see on the course was due to TIM and him destroying the course. It will take awhile for this course to recover due to the damage Tim & Anna did to it. However, I played there recently and the new staff is obviously putting a lot of work into it. I am in no way associated with the course and just a golfer, but before you go blasting it, get your facts straight.

    Thanks for the comment TIM!

  8. Linda says:

Maybe someone should mention the new chef and the excellent lunches/dinners being served by friendly staff.

  9. Marcus says:

Just an overall terrible experience. The course was in alright shape but between terrible customer service, a group of ridiculous teenagers that the course owner refused to speak to for inappropriate behavior and a string of other things, its the worst golf experience I’ve had in years. Will not be going back

  10. Billy B says:

I wish Tim & Anna came back. They did more in a week then the new people have in 2 years. Tim & Anna DID NOT leave the place with open lines because I was working for them for 5 years and they took care of EVERYONE the Russian needs to realize that.
I do not know where they moved but may everyone pray for them they got it stuck up their tale for No Reason!

  11. This is really sad. If Tim & Anna were so bad why is the Russians and Billy Bear Using all the same photos, website data?

Tim & Anna were GREAT people who helped so many charities in Rochester. We were lucky to of had them. Anyone bad mouthing them did not know them. The course now is horrible compared to what they kept it. For the reasons above I and my friends will never PLAY ROCKPORT ( Yes I meant to spell it like that ) again!

Billy Bear Stabbed Tim & Anna in the back after Tim and Anna got him the job Sad Business very sad. Play a course owned by Americans support your own people Golfers.!!!!!

Keep the peace – Get a life pal. Have fun playing hickory ridge. Revamping a golf course doesn’t take a day to conquer. Keep playing from the senior tees and have a white russian on me.

  13. Burkys Boy says:

Tim’s said the course doesn’t look bad at all. Said its in great shape and he is jealous.

  14. Rich H. says:

Good Reviews. Good job posting as a fake “Billy B”. Have fun playing at hickory farms.

Ps. Have a white Russian on me too….

  15. Scratch Pro says:

Wow, you have a lot of BS to say. Too bad everything you have wrote is false.

Ps. Come have a White-Russian on me!

  16. Brad P says:

Are all of you serious with these comments? Back and forth with blame of who did what? Fact of the matter is, the course could easily be a true gem in the area once again. A new owner usually has money to spend. A new manager/pro worth his weight will have great ideas to make it better than it was before. Will you then hold it against him if they pull it off together? If they improve things so well that play improves 300% will you be upset the course is too busy? A tough problem to have being where everyone wants to be. I fully intend to apply and get it and then we can all enjoy the transformation together.
