Mill Creek Golf Club,
Mill Creek is open and in great shape for early spring. Prices are excellent, course is excellent, staff is excellent. I love this course, and it is worth the drive out to churchville. A must play- one of the best courses in Rochester.
Great layout of a golf course, in great condition. A lot of interesting holes the first time thru you play that you would definetly play different the second time thru. #10 for sure. If you can hit a driver over 230yrds, don’t lay up, drive the ball around the dog leg which drops 150 feet down towards the green. Speaking of greens though, these greens, all of them, were the toughest greens my foursome has every played. We are from Niagara Falls, Ontario and the difficulty of the greens don’t even exist on the PGA tour. Every putt you have to think about. And a two putt is like achieving birdie even if its to save bogey. They’re that tough. Aside from that though and the off beat track to get there, its a must play if your a golf enthusiast. Fantastic food in the clubhouse too.
Mill Creek is one of my favorite public courses in Rochester. The condition of the course is always in great shape. I live on the east side of Rochester and the drive out to Mill Creek. It is well worth the drive for this quality of golf!
You must play this golf course. Many interersting holes. We like the greens, fast and not a easy two putt. You must play there and you’ll know what I am talking about.
If you’re a senior, don’t beat yourself, Play the silver tees. If you’ve played this course before, you know that the tee shot here is most likely to put you in deep trouble. Distance off the tee is crucial.
Definitely go with someone who has been around this place before if you’re a first timer here. Lots of blind tee shots. Overall a very impressive layout. Must check it out.
