Course Info
Brook-Lea Country Club is a private club whose members and staff are committed to providing a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere where friends gather for golf, camaraderie and good cheer. Constructed in 1926, this Donald Ross designed golf course has stood the test of time and remains one of Rochester’s most challenging and enjoyable golf courses. This beautiful golf & country club, sits on 188 spectacularly scenic acres that include upland meadows, a meandering creek, ponds, and mature woodlands.
The course ranges in length from just under 5,900 yards from the Red tees to 6,800 yards from the Blue tees. Every level of player will enjoy the experience and challenge their shot-making skills.
But there is so much more to enjoy: The highly-maintained 18-hole championship golf course and practice facilities. The nostalgic clubhouse, an Olympic size swimming pool, fitness center and spacious palatial grounds to be enjoyed by the whole family.
The Brook-Lea Country Club golf operation is committed to providing their Members and Guests with outstanding service as well as offering a friendly and enjoyable experience while using the Club’s golf facilities.
Their Professional Staff is led by the Western New York PGA President, Jon Hoecker. Jon and his staff are equally adept at planning a 200 player Charity Golf Tournament, hosting the NYS Amateur Championship or providing the best individual instruction available in the area. Annually, Brook-Lea is host to one of the area’s “Four Majors” with the Brook-Lea Amateur Invitational. In 2009, the Club is once again proud to host the RDGA John Ryan Memorial Championship.
Greg Eason, Brook-Lea’s Golf Course Superintendent maintains the course at the consistently high standards expected of a private country club of Brook-Lea’s stature. Working with a Donald Ross gem, Greg and his crew work tirelessly to ensure members and guests experience the finest conditions available in the area.
