Welcome to the new BROCKPORT GOLF CLUB. Better golf – Better Value! With over $300,000 in renovations this past winter Brockport Golf Club which opened in 1960 features a par 72 which plays over 6,700 yards from the tips. Rated the 3rd toughest course in Monroe County by the RDGA (Rochester District Golf Association), Brockport Golf Club will challenge all levels of play. The front side is very tight and undulated. You need to sharpen up on your wedge game to master this side. The backside is for the power players so dust off the driver. The course is varied with holes that are short and long, flat and hilly. A good score will be recorded by anyone who can hit a variety of crisp shots to accommodate each hole, and approach shots that will hold the greens. Number 14 is the #1 handicap hole and finishing 18th hole nicknamed “The Monster “ is a 555 yard par 5 where the wind always affects each shot. No matter the weather conditions outside Brockport Golf Club has a heated-driving range helping to keep your game sharp all year long.

Brockport Golf Club is considered “The Best Value” in the Rochester Area by bringing the private course conditions to a public course at a fraction of the cost. Excellent Course Conditions

This family owned and operated 27 hole golf course offers an excellent layout with many challenging and scenic holes. The condition of Terry Hills is unmatched – even with the extreme temperatures and lack of rain this golf season. With plush fairways and greens that are some of the best in the area, you will not be disappointed. During the early rains this season, Terry Hills was one of the few courses that allowed riding carts out on the course. Their drainage system truly passed the test that Mother Nature threw at them.

Congratulations to Webster Schroeder for winning the Monroe County High School Golf Championship  

Seniors Bryce Edmister and Shane Dobesh each shot a one-under-par 71 to lead Webster Schroeder over Pittsford Mendon in Monroe County Boys Golf Championship at Ravenwood Golf Club. The Warriors finished ahead of Pittsford Mendon by one stroke with a five-player total of 380.

Brockport was third (392) and Victor was fourth (398) as the top four teams qualified for the Section V meet Saturday at the Country Club of Mendon. Pittsford Mendon freshman Gavin Hall earned medalist honors with a six-under-par 66 and Chris Blyth carded a 71 for the Vikings.

Tom Kolb shot a 69 and was second for Victor, which finished one stroke ahead of fifth-place Rush-Henrietta for the final team sectional qualifying slot. Ted Leaf, who led the Warriors to their first county title in his 13 seasons as coach said it was fun and gratifying to be able to go out on top.

Sophomores Shane Gleason (78) and David Piucci (80) and Mike Towle (80) each had a season’s best score for the Warriors. Pittsford Sutherland (403) was sixth, Greece Athena (405) finished seventh, Greece Olympia (411) placed eighth,  and Churchville-Chili (415) was ninth.

Cobblestone Creek Country Club was founded in Victor, New York in 1991.
